Day 13: Excited!

Hi everybody! Hope everyone’s Sunday has been relaxing or eventful- whichever you prefer! Today, I am wrapped up in my blankets with candles and incense filling up my room with amazing scents. I have two tests this week. One in OB, and the other in Echo, so I am studying in bed today. I wish I wasn’t because- get this… FullSizeRender-5.jpgIt is December 13th, 2015 in New York right now, and it is 64 degrees. This has never happened — ever! This time last year was almost 10 degrees farenheit! Freezing! New York had it’s coldest winters yet the past two winters- now all of a sudden- we have the same weather as California! I am not complaining at all because I am a big baby during the winter (I hate being cold) but this does worry me because of Global Warming.

Todays prompt is, “What are you excited for?” So, so, so much! I will make a list…

Why am I so excited-

  1. End of the semester is approaching!
  2. Being finished with finals
  3. January break
  4. Sleeping in a couple times
  5. Being home more often
  6. Relaxing
  7. Christmas!
  8. Giving people their gifts
  9. Receiving mine 😉
  10. Sleeping
  11. The Christmas shopping rush at my job
  12. Isabella’s 2nd birthday
  13. New Years
  14. Sleeping
  15. Binge-watching Vikings
  16. Reading fiction books
  17. Sleeping
  18. Seeing the Tree in Rockefeller Centre
  19. Iceskating
  20. Did I say sleeping?

Basically, I just can’t wait for this semester to be over. I definitely need a break without a doubt. My brain is filled to capacity with information these past four months in my Sonography program. I can’t wait to just relax with family, and friends, watch movies, exchange gifts, do typical holiday activities, and welcome in 2016. And if you didn’t catch my drift- I definitely need to catch up on sleep. 🙂

What are your plans over the holidays?  Thanks for reading!

  1. Good luck on your tests. I will spend the holidays with my family. My cousin moved to Crete about 5 years ago. She visits us every year and spends Christmas with us. She will come with her husband and their 3 year old son. So I am very happy to see them again, coz I love family time. I also look forward spending New Year’s with my friends.
Btw I was in New York in May this year. Was my first time, and it was also hotter than usually in May, like somewhere in California. But I loved it, I am not much a fan of the cold. But some snow for the holidays wouldn’t be that bad…
